The northwestern coast hosts the great port city of Roboria, gateway to the Ascendancy. Massive mechanical docks unload cargo from across Aethoria using crystal-powered cranes and steam haulers.
Moving inland the land becomes dry and wind-scoured. The Ascendancy transformed the plains using engineering.
Voltaris is built around the Dynamo Core, a colossal crystal energy engine beneath the central citadel. The city is known across Aethoria for one thing above all: reliability.
The engineering city of Geratron hosts the Ascendancy’s Balloon Field where experimental aircraft are tested.
Toward the polar southeast the land becomes a storm-ridden wasteland known as the Static Expanse. Lightning strikes constantly across magnetic crystal fields. Towering lightning spires capture the energy and convert it into power for Ascendancy cities.
