What's new in HeroClass v4.12
More ways to make HeroClass your classroom's own adventure.
- Control new student sign-ups. Once everyone has joined, help prevent duplicate and extra accounts by closing enrolment. In your teacher dashboard, select a classroom and open Settings. Below the Bank, KCE and Store switches, uncheck Allow new student sign-ups; your change saves automatically. Sign-ups are open by default. Existing students can still sign in and play normally when sign-ups are closed. Turn the setting back on when a new student arrives, then close it again once they have joined. For shared classrooms, the setting applies to the whole class.
- A clearer route back for returning students. The sign-up page now prominently says Already joined? Sign in instead. Students only need to create an account once. If they try to create one while enrolment is closed, a message directs them to sign in or ask their teacher to reopen sign-ups.
- Write your own Store Power descriptions. Explain what a power means in your classroom, including Invisibility and Forage. Students can read your wording in the library. Game costs, rewards and mechanics stay fixed.
- Share classrooms with another teacher in your school. Work together with a shared class and keep its adventure connected across your teaching team.
- Add your own powers. Use the Power Forge to create custom powers that fit your classroom.
- Write rewarded quests in Book of Quests 2. Turn classroom challenges into adventures with rewards for your students.
- Crystal game. Give spatial thinking a workout with crystal puzzles.
- Marble game. Explore angles and physics through play. A shared daily ranked board gives everyone the same challenge, with unlimited restarts and extra boards for practice.
- Librarian's Challenge. Practice alphabetical order with a new library challenge.
