Getting Started with HeroClass

HeroClass can grow into a deep classroom world, but teachers do not need to launch everything at once. Start small, let students learn the basics, and unlock the larger systems when the class is ready.

Start Light. Build Later.

The easiest way to begin is to treat HeroClass as a simple classroom motivation system: students join, choose a role, earn XP and Gold Pieces, and work in teams. That is enough for launch.

The deeper systems, the bank, store, crystal exchange, daily events, powers, pledges, and larger economy, can be introduced gradually. You don't need to open every door on day one.

Simple Pricing

HeroClass is designed to be affordable for a single classroom teacher.

Yearly

$88

One full school year of HeroClass access.

Best value for teachers who plan to use it all year.

Monthly

$8

Month-to-month access for teachers who want to try it gradually.

Useful for testing HeroClass with one class first.

The Teacher Setup Path

The setup process is meant to feel manageable. One step at a time. Revolutionary stuff, apparently.

1

Pay & Sign Up

Create a teacher account and choose either yearly or monthly access.

2

Create a Class

Make your classroom, give it a name, and generate a class join code.

3

Students Join

Students enter the class code, create a gamer tag, and join your classroom world.

4

Choose Roles

Students choose to become Guardians, Mages, or Healers, each with different strengths.

5

Build Teams

The teacher organizes students into teams so collaboration becomes part of the game.

6

Start the Adventure

Begin with XP, Gold Pieces, Health, Crystals, teams, and simple classroom rewards.

Unlock Deeper Systems When Ready

Once students understand the basic rhythm, teachers can add more systems gradually.

Made by a Teacher

HeroClass was built by a classroom teacher to make learning, teamwork, responsibility, and financial literacy feel real inside the classroom. It has been used with students for years, refined through actual classroom use, and shaped by what students respond to: choice, identity, teamwork, progress, and a little glorious chaos.

The goal is not to replace teaching. The goal is to give classroom routines a world students care about.

Student Privacy and Yearly Reset

HeroClass is built for classroom use, so student information is kept simple and limited.

Minimal Student Information

Students use a first name, last initial, and gamer tag. No student phone number is requested.

No Student Email Needed

Students join through a teacher class code and use their gamer tag for identification.

Clean Yearly Data

Classroom data is deleted at the end of each year so every school year begins fresh.

Not Sold

Student data is not sold or used for outside advertising. That would be pledge worthy behaviour, and not the fun kind.
